Walhampton is an independent preparatory day and boarding school for 370 boys and girls aged 2-13. The school lies in beautiful ancient woodland on the southern edge of the New Forest, near Lymington in Hampshire.
We are urgently seeking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant to play a key role in our busy catering department which provides quality fresh food 7 days a week to over 450 children and staff. The role is term time only and the candidate will be expected to work 20 hours per week from 4pm-8pm Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work (term time only). Flexible requests considered.
As a catering assistant you will help keep our kitchen clean, safe and hygienic and help unload food deliveries. You must be able to work on your own initiative but also be a good team player. There will be an opportunity to progress through the kitchen for the right candidate.
